The development of large-size printing presses: The problem facing large-size printing is that the growth rate of paper cannot keep up with the printing capacity and the price competition.

Definition of small-size printing

In the industry, the small-size category is below A3.

The definition of color: black and white, color, special colors have been included in it.

Quantitative definition: about 5,000, up to 20,000.

Small size printing

1. Color Copy: low-order, 100 or so.

2. Copy to Print: A bit like a digital printer, POD, etc., 200 to 3000 sheets.

3. Digital Print: digital printing, high-level, more than 3,000.

4. Offset Print: Lithography, higher order.

Print market distribution ratio

6% of special printing, 6% of packaging printing, 8% of books, 13% of newspapers, 16% of magazines, and 51% of advertising printing plus commercial printing. In the above distribution, advertising printing and commercial printing are mostly small-sized printing.

Before 1996, more than 2,000 prints accounted for the majority of the total, and 500 prints accounted for the majority of the prints after 2,000 years. However, the growth of short-run printing in the world is faster than large-size ones.
