Recently, the functional membrane team of Polymer Division of Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences designed and synthesized antibacterial polymer hollow fiber membranes.
Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a polymer membrane material with excellent comprehensive performance. The use of PVDF hollow fiber membranes has been widely used in household water purification systems, sewage treatment, seawater desalination and other fields. Membrane pollution caused by microorganisms such as organic matter and bacteria is the number one natural enemy in the application of membrane materials. Therefore, the preparation of hollow fiber membranes with antibacterial properties has important practical significance.
Recently, the functional membrane team of the Polymer Division of the Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences designed and synthesized antibacterial polymer hollow fiber membranes. First, the ion-exchange method was used to prepare a silver-loaded molecular sieve with a silver content of 9.7%. Existing research basis (non-solvent induced auxiliary thermally induced phase separation method for the preparation of PVDF membranes with bi-continuous structure, related research work has been published in the membrane field journal UltrasonicsSonochemistry, 2013, 20, 232-238, Desalination 2013, 316, 137-145, Desalination 2012 , 298,99–105.), By comparing the structure and performance of the membranes prepared by different solvents, selecting a suitable ratio of mixed solvents, using dry spray-wet spinning method to prepare PVDF hollow fiber membrane with antibacterial properties, the prepared The surface of the antibacterial membrane is porous, and the supporting structure under the skin layer is finger-shaped macropores, which is helpful to reduce the resistance when water passes through. The silver-bearing molecular sieve is evenly distributed in the membrane, and the membrane does not lose pure water flux and mechanical strength. Next, it has a good resistance to bacterial adhesion.
