Glass supports beer brands

The New Belgium brewing company in Fort Collins, Colorado, is known for its energy efficiency and social responsibility. From production to packaging, the Fat Tire amber beer in the picture, like the company's Sunshine Wheat, Blue Paddle Pilsener, Abbey Belgian Beer, and other brewing products, is a product that uses wind energy to retain water, and New Belgium cautions that "Three 'R's become environmental stewards: reduce, reuse and recycle."

In terms of product packaging, New Belgium uses amber glass bottles supplied by OI's new plant in Windsor, Colorado. “New Belgium has always used amber glass to protect its beer from harmful elements such as light and heat, and the packaging is also easy to recycle,” said Bryan Simpson, director of media relations at New Belgium.
