Description of commonly used thinner for gravure ink

Commonly used solvents in gravure ink can be divided into the following categories:

Alcohol solvents: ethanol (alcohol), isopropyl alcohol, n-butanol

Ester solvents: ethyl acetate, butyl acetate

Benzene solvents: toluene, xylene

Ketone solvents: cyclohexanone, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (butanone)

Since gravure ink is mainly based on volatile drying, most of them use highly volatile solvents.

In the ink solvent, we call the solvent that can dissolve the ink alone as the true solvent, the solvent that cannot dissolve the ink as the false solvent, and the solvent that cannot dissolve the ink alone and must be mixed with other solvents to dissolve the ink is called the cosolvent.

Among the solvents listed above, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, acetone, toluene, and ethanol are all quick-drying solvents.

Such as butyl acetate, xylene, isopropanol, cyclohexanone are slow-drying solvents.

Benzene and other solvents cannot be used alone in benzene-soluble surface printing inks. Benzene solvents and alcohol solvents should be pre-mixed before diluting the ink. The ratio can be adjusted with reference to the information provided by the ink supplier.

In compound inks (chlorinated polypropylene type), benzene, ester and ketone solvents are all true solvents. Do not dilute with alcoholic solvents. In order to reduce costs, benzene solvents can be used, but depending on the drying speed, the ratio can be adjusted according to the information provided by the ink supplier.

In PVC shrink film inks, only ester solvents are true solvents, and benzene solvents are auxiliary solvents. Do not add benzene solvents alone, but mix ester solvents and benzene solvents. The proportion can be adjusted according to the information provided by the ink supplier.

Aquarium Filters

The Fish Tank Filter is an essential component of any aquarium setup, playing a crucial role in maintaining a healthy and clean environment for your fish. This filtration system offers a range of features that contribute to its effectiveness and efficiency.

One key feature of the Fish Tank Filter is its multi-stage filtration process. This typically includes mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration, ensuring that debris, toxins, and harmful substances are effectively removed from the water. This promotes water clarity and provides a safe living space for your fish.

Another notable feature is the adjustable flow rate. The Fish Tank Filter allows you to control the speed and intensity of water flow, catering to the specific needs of your aquarium inhabitants. This feature is particularly beneficial for delicate species that may require a gentler water current.

The Fish Tank Filter also boasts a quiet operation. It is designed with noise-reducing technology, ensuring that it operates silently and doesn't disrupt the tranquility of your living space.

Easy maintenance is another advantage of the Fish Tank Filter. It typically incorporates a removable filter media and easy-to-access components, making cleaning and replacement a breeze.
