In this paper, the AAS vario 6 commercial atomic absorption spectrometer from Ananlytik Jena AG of Germany was used to successfully determine the phosphorus content in blended cotton yarn (90% cotton + 10% polyester) by direct solid sampling. As a parallel sample, the precision is 2.3% ~ 7.4% RSD, which is very satisfactory, and its reproducibility is comparable to that of graphite furnace for solution injection. Direct solid sampling graphite furnace atomic absorption analysis can not only solve the problem of special sample analysis, but also greatly save the time and workload of sample processing; compared with the suspension sampling method, there is no dilution and suspension contamination problem, it is worth A modern analytical technique popularized.
