European beer crate

It is reported that beer crate is more and more popular in Europe now, and beer manufacturers even use it as a means to attract consumers.

Many companies have begun to use polycarbonate (PC) instead of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as a raw material to produce beer crate, and use soft-touch handles and in-mold labeling technology. The transparent PC board can be printed, affixed with a transparent in-mold logo or increase the overall transparency, which is beneficial for consumers to observe the beer inside the box.

The disadvantage of the new beer crate is that its price is usually 15% higher than that of an ordinary HDPE beer crate. Mainly because of the high price of PCs, in-mold labeling and soft touch handles also need to increase production costs. At present, the main users of the new crates are large beer producers.
