Daqing developed PPZ50S special materials

Daqing Petrochemical Plastics Factory has recently developed a special high-melt-rate fiber-grade polypropylene resin, Z50S spinning material. At present, Daqing Petrochemical Plastics Factory is the first manufacturer in China to use solid peroxides to produce high melt index polypropylene fiber products.

Z50S is mainly used for the production of polypropylene fiber. The resin melt flow rate is 22-28g/10min. It is based on the existing general polypropylene resin T30S. By adding a new additive, solid peroxide, the polypropylene molecule is adjusted. The size of the chain ensures that the relative molecular mass distribution of the new product is narrow and uniform, and the production stability during high-temperature and high-pressure spinning is ensured, and the melt index of polypropylene is controlled through a chemical degradation method, so as to meet the requirements for spinning special materials. At present, the annual demand for fiber-grade polypropylene special resin is about 200,000 tons. Due to its low cost, simple production process, light weight, and corrosion resistance, the development of fiber-grade polypropylene is fast. Therefore, Z50S can be expected to have a good demand.
