Printing process sheet
The record items of the printing process bill should be clearly recorded without omission. Each variety should correspond to a printing process bill. When the interoperable version is used, if the design is different, a printing process bill must be re-made. When the product printing is changed, the design, date, product name, product code, etc. must be changed.
When making the printing process sheet, the printing position in the horizontal and vertical directions is recorded in mm, and special attention should be paid when designing the design position.
Before arranging the printing plate processing, the technical designer must be used to confirm the production equipment and the number of materials processed.
When there is a replacement version, it should be marked on the printing process sheet, and a yellow fluorescent pen is used to scribble the replacement site for clear identification. In addition, the date and batch number are also used as the paste version.
The printing process bill is generally printed with the same color as the actual printing color to distinguish the color. When the first piece is produced, the confirmed correct color is sampled and pasted on the printing craft bill so that it can be used as a reference sample in the next production.
Make print proofs
In order to ensure the accuracy of the printing plate and improve the efficiency of the printing process, it is necessary to confirm the accuracy of the printing plate before printing. This requires the production of a proof copy of the printing plate for proofreading and approval.
Printed proofs are sampled from the printed version attached to the film. Regardless of whether it is 2-color printing or multi-color printing, sampling is performed on a piece of proof paper.
First, draw an outline on the proof sheet according to the unfolded size of the carton. Because the printing plate will extend in the circumferential direction of the printing plate, the expansion and contraction rate of the printing plate is added during the production. Therefore, the proof must be a reduced size line based on the unfolded size of the carton.
In special cases such as a handle hole or a take-out port of the tear tape, it needs to be indicated in the proof. Enter the manufacturer's name and date of production on the proof sheet.
The color of the printing proof, use the similar color. In the case of reprinting the printing plate or changing the printing plate, it is necessary to sample again.
Make sure to enter the marks for inspection: registration mark, plate number and printing color.
Necessary tools and materials: typeset printing plate, proofing paper with carton size line, doctor roller, printing table (minimum: basic 7 colors + black) and scraper.
Preparation: Put the printed plates on the workbench, starting from the color that is not easy to sample, regardless of the order of production. Use a damp cloth to remove the dust and garbage on the surface of the printing plate.
Put proof paper on the prepared printing plate, align the center line of the printing plate and proof paper, and the carton size line. In order to prevent the operation from stopping halfway, the corners are fixed with heavy objects.
Roll up the proof paper, apply the ink on the printing plate with the doctor roller, try to use the same color ink as the actual production, and apply the ink uniformly on the surface of the printing plate.
Cover the proof paper and press gently to make it fully contact with the printing plate. Be careful not to move the proofing paper, use a scraper to gently and uniformly scrape. After all the printing plates are sampled, remove the proof paper. Check the completion status of the printed version. If there is no problem, proceed to the next color operation.
The second and third color plates are sampled in the same way as the first color.
Confirm whether the center line and dimension line of the printing plate and proofing paper are aligned.
Design drawing card and proof draft correction, confirm the content of the printing plate and the completion status.
Enter the name of the printing plate manufacturer and the date of production.
Printed proofs management process
Printed proofs are generally produced by plate-making companies. The completion time of the proof copy of the printed version is synchronized with the completion time required by the printed version (generally, it will be completed within 30 hours after the drawing is confirmed, and the urgent situation will be based on the customer's order requirements). [next]
Confirmation of printed proofs
After the print proof is first confirmed by the producer, it is signed and confirmed in the "producer" column of the proof, and the production date is filled in.
After the producer has confirmed the printed proof, it is required to attach a printed drawing to the relevant business personnel to confirm the layout content (including text and patterns), printing position and size, and the business personnel are directly responsible for the above confirmed content and check with the printed drawings , And mark them one by one in red. After correct, sign and confirm in the column of "Business Personnel" of the proof sheet, and fill in the confirmation date.
After the sales staff confirms the printed proof, it will be handed over to the technical staff to check the size of the product and the content of the anti-skid strips. After correcting, sign and confirm in the "Technical" column of the proof, and fill in the confirmation date. If you find errors in the printed proofs, you should immediately report back to the producer for rectification.
The confirmation time of the printed proofs is determined to be completed within the day of receipt of the printed proofs.
Use and preservation of printed proofs
Printed proofs are required for new or changed products.
Printed proofs can only be used after being confirmed by three parties. If the signature is incomplete, the printing machine should refuse to produce and contact the relevant department.
Printed proofs should be kept together with printed drawings.
Print production standards
Printed version plus paper feed version and anti-skid strip
When encountering cardboard printing with a small width of corrugated cardboard, in order to ensure the stability of the printing machine into the cardboard and the accuracy between the colors during printing, it is necessary to add a feeding plate and a non-slip strip on the printing plate.
In addition, note that there is no need to add a paper-feeding plate and anti-skid strip when printing the whole version of the field, and no need to add a paper-feeding plate when printing the full version of the text pattern.
The minimum size requirement for the width of corrugated cardboard should be determined according to the actual situation of the enterprise's printing press. The paper-feeding version is generally affixed to the second, third, and fourth press lines, and a total of three are posted. (As shown in Figure 1)
The height of the paper-feeding plate is 1mm lower than that of the printing plate, and the width is generally 10mm. The upper and lower ends of the paper feed plate are longer than the cardboard. However, because the upper and lower ends are easily tilted and contact with the ink roller, the phenomenon of ink contamination of the corrugated cardboard will occur. Therefore, the two ends of the paper feed plate need to be obliquely cut and pasted. (As shown in Figure 2) [next]
When the corrugated cardboard is small and the printing of a certain color is less, it will be difficult to feed the cardboard from the printing plate. In this case, it is difficult to maintain the synchronization without slipping at the high speed of the paper feeding plate only. It is also necessary to place anti-skid strips on both ends of the cardboard. The non-slip strip is attached to the tongue and 3mm outside of the fourth side trimming position. (As shown in Figure 3)
When sticking anti-skid strips, care must be taken not to stick the printed version to the edge of the first and fourth sides to prevent ink from contaminating the cardboard. The height of the anti-skid strip is the same as the height of the printing plate, and the width is 10mm.
Both the paper-feeding plate and the anti-skid strip are fixed with plate sealant. When printing a small number of colors or a blank box, the printing cylinder without a printing plate should be added with anti-skid strips. Two anti-skid plates are fixed for each color, and the general gap is 500mm.
Printing paste and edge banding
Corrugated box companies generally use tape to seal the edges of the printing plate. After a long time, the tape is very easy to lift, and because the tape itself has a certain thickness, it will cause dirty printing.
Reasonable printing plate paste and edge banding should be done as follows: First, paste the printing plate with double-sided tape. The content of the printing plate is required to be correct. The printing plate is complete. Between the double-sided tape on the back of the printing plate and the printing plate There should be no gaps, the paste should be smooth, and no individual areas protruding or there are extra lines are allowed. Then cut the surroundings of the printing plate into slopes, use sealing glue to seal the surroundings, and it is forbidden to seal with tape. When sealing, the printing plate should be pasted firmly to ensure that there is no looseness or falling off, so that the edges of the printing plate will not Dirty printing will appear. (As shown in Figure 4: schematic diagram of the edge banding of the printed version)
Standard line requirements for printed plates
There are five standard lines of the printed version: the operation side marking line, the center line, the finished edge line, the inspection mark and the outline of the carton development diagram.
Add red tape or printing direction arrow and mark the center line on the back of the operation side of the printing plate (the center line position must be accurate), this can guide the printing staff to quickly and accurately upload the plate, save time and improve work efficiency.
The distance from the edge of the inward hanging strip to the upper edge of the finished product is generally set to 100mm, and it is marked at this position as the reference line for typesetting.
For the convenience of typesetting, you can draw a contour line of the corrugated box expansion size on the hanging film. The contour line requires that the printing direction should be based on the reduced size of the corrugated box expansion size. The left and right sides are the actual size.
Check mark
Die-cutting positioning line: For die-cutting printing plates, mark "L" at the designated position around the corrugated cardboard to check whether the printing is offset, ensure accurate overprinting, and greatly shorten the alignment of the die-cut corrugated cardboard Time spent printing the location. (As shown in Figure 5: "L" logo)
Color registration mark (cross mark): The color registration mark can make printing misalignment and color misalignment easy to check. It is required to be affixed to each color printing plate of each product passing the printing machine. The general diameter is 10mm. (As shown in Figure 6: cross mark)
The color registration mark is generally printed on the tongue part of the carton, and the die cutting box should be printed on the cut part. However, when the customer agrees, it can also be printed on the inner flap part.
Die-cutting displacement check mark: Add a mark to the inner folding lid of the carton to make the die-cutting displacement easy to check. It is worth noting that the die-cutting shift inspection mark must be approved by the customer. (As shown in Figure 7: Die-cutting shift check mark) Standard requirements for hanging film and hanging strip: The hanging film is not allowed to break, and the hanging strip and hanging film are firmly bonded by hot-melt bonding , And fixed with fiber tape, the hanging strip is not allowed to break.
Post version: in principle, post version is not adopted. When it is necessary to adopt a post-change version, a set of printing plates is generally required based on no more than 4 post-change parts.
Plate number and color: Adding the plate number and color makes it easy to detect printing errors. The number of the printing plate is the same as the number of the printing process, and it is the same as the number on the printing plate hanger. When using the printing plates transferred from other companies, it is generally necessary to re-typeset according to the printing equipment of the company and amend it to the same style as the process of the company. When it is used as is without affecting the design, it should be approved by the customer. [next]
Die cutting process
For each set of die-cutting plates, a die-cutting process sheet shall be made and a unique number shall be prepared. The recorded items in the die-cutting process sheet should be clearly recorded without omission, mainly including the following items: corrugated direction and die-cutting passing direction, indicating pressure line, indicating line strength, corrugated flattening, printing position and die cutting Position reference, indicated half-cutter, indicated half-cut or fully-cut part of intermittent knife, indicated the start of knives of intermittent knife or interval crimping or crimping start position, indicated the part where no connection is possible, indicated 180 ° specified by customer Types of bent and reverse-curved parts and crimp lines.
It should be noted that the die cutting process sheet should be kept together with the production process sheet.
Production standard of die-cut version
The die-cut version number, die-cutting process order number and die-cut version storage rack should be the same number.
Standard for die-cutting plate for flattening
The datum (A) of the starting knife is determined according to the die-cutting equipment, which is generally around 20mm. Add a red line to the operation side of the die-cutting plate, and enter the following items on the die-cutting plate: the die-cutting plate manufacturer, the die-cutting plate number, the type and shape (height, width) of the cutter and the crimping line, the knife The total length (in mm), indicating the knife connection (red arrow), standard die cutting pressure. (Shown in Figure 8)
Standard for die-cutting plate for round pressing
The size of the first knife is A size. When the trimming part is 10 mm, the distance between the first mounting screw hole and the first knife is 35 mm. (Shown in Figure 9)
Add a red line to the operation side of the die-cut plate, and draw a center line in the middle. The following items are indicated on the die-cutting plate: the name of the die-cutting plate manufacturer, the die-cutting plate number, and the connection part of the knife (red arrow).
Acceptance of die-cut version
The die-cutting plate manufacturer is required to deliver the die-cutting plate and the specified delivery slip in a complete set, and to check the die-cutting samples, die-cutting plate and die-cutting process sheet one by one.
Eliminate unnecessary craft bills
For the craft bills that have not been used for one year, the list shall be listed once a month as the object of disposal. Submit the process list in the listed list to the business personnel for confirmation, and dispose of it after obtaining the consent for disposal.
Printing plates, die-cutting plates, printing process sheets, die-cutting process sheets, products and other related items are also processed at the same time. If the product code cannot be eliminated immediately, the process bill must be retained and noted in the notes.
