New 924IPS Hyperion Electrodes

[China Packaging Network News] Mickey International's UK roll cleaning and anti-static experts have upgraded their Hyperion series of electrostatic control systems. The new 924IPS electrostatic stick is compact and well-suited for a small operating range. This new product will be widely used in various fields such as printing, packaging, conversion and labeling.

“So far, small-scale applications have eliminated static electricity through AC electrodes,” explained David Rogers, technical director of Mickey. “At the same time, 24V DC has become the standard supply voltage for other additional equipment on the machine. That's why We decided to strengthen our product range of anti-static systems through this electrode product. As a result, Hyperion 924 IPS became the first industrial 24V DC electrode to apply for short-range applications and services and exist as an alternative to traditional AC electrodes."

924IPS is 32 millimeters high. It is not only the most compact DC electrode on the market, but it can also be installed in highly demanding locations that would normally require AC electrodes. The system uses the same 4-pole M8 plug and a Titan electrode that can be safely touched. This electrode is also built into other Hyperion electrodes. However, this new product has IP66 categories that can be used in harsh environments.

"The 924IPS is our first electrode with an adjustable output voltage. This feature is particularly suitable for highly sensitive applications such as RFID. Therefore, its performance is completely controllable," Rogers said. "Similar to other Hyperion electrodes, We have built a clean alarm in the 924IPS design. An LED will be green or red depending on the cleanliness of the electrodes. This way, the user can easily check that good ionization performance can be achieved."
