The museum covers an area of ​​about 700 square meters. The museum houses more than 3,000 metal toys from the 1930s to the 1980s and 1990s. They come from different sources such as foreign acquisitions, domestic collectors and toy factories .

The 10,000-ton hydraulic press is the treasure of the town hall in the museum. It is made according to the physical tons of hydraulic press. After the battery is installed, it can be simulated. It is reported that each kindergarten in Shanghai had an electric iron 10,000 tons hydraulic press as a teaching tool. In addition, the mobile dragons and mobile crocodiles in the museum are also precious. They were produced in the 1970s and are the only two remaining in the world.
