There are many variables affecting the combustion in the incinerator system, such as: (1) primary air volume, wind pressure, and air temperature; (2) secondary air volume, wind pressure, and air temperature; (3) feeder stroke and speed; 4) grate stroke and speed; (5) slag roll speed; (6) burning fire bed waste thickness.
The combination of the stroke, speed and grate speed of the feeder is very important, it directly affects the thickness of the garbage layer on the fire bed, thus affecting the combustion. The garbage layer is too thick, and the ash that is not burned thoroughly is flammable. The garbage layer is too thin, the furnace temperature is unstable, and the fluctuations are high and low, which affects stable power generation and is prone to accidents.
The slag roll speed and the grate speed should be matched well, the slag roll speed is too slow, the thickness of the garbage layer is increased, and the garbage layer is thinned.
Reasonable matching is relatively inconsistent. In the actual operation process, it is necessary to adjust the control from time to time to achieve better results. This requires the operator to have practical experience, diligent observation, and more fine-tuning to run smoothly.
Once the furnace temperature or the garbage layer deviates too much, the adjustment takes a long time and the fluctuation is large, which has a great influence on the production and power generation. Furnace temperature is an important indicator of smoke emissions. Generally speaking, 850-950 °C is better, the corrosion to the boiler is small, and the toxic gas generated is also small, and no black smoke is generated.
