Specification of line drawings in corrugated carton process drawings

In many corrugated cartons, the line drawings in the technical drawings of the corrugated cartons are not standard and the design symbols are not used accurately. The line drawing method in the corrugated carton process drawing shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements specified in the international carton box type standard.

There are three commonly used representation symbols:

1. Cut, fold, and slot symbols include outline cut lines (single solid line), slotted lines (double solid line), inner fold indent lines (single dotted line), outer fold indent lines (dash line), cuts Lines (three-dot dotted line), double-indented lines (double-dotted line), punched lines (dotted lines), soft-cut lines (corrugated lines).

2. Seal symbol and code

There are three ways to join corrugated boxes:

U-type nails, code-named S;
Adhesive tape, code-named T;
Adhesive bonding, code C.

3. Handle symbol

Completely open type, code P type;

Not completely open type, code U-type.

Die-cut design to be synchronized

A corrugated carton that needs to be die-cut is usually produced in the same document as the corrugated cardboard die-cut version when the layout design is performed, so that the visual inspection can be performed. When the die-cut production is performed, the design draft is executed.
