New trends in China's plastics processing industry - big investment, great development

Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy in the early 1980s in China, the plastics processing industry has developed rapidly. It attaches great importance to foreign advanced technology and equipment for plastics processing. China's plastics processing machinery entered the 1990s, with an average annual growth rate of 22%, and the number of companies reached more than 600. There are 19 categories of compounding equipment, injection molding machines, extruders, blow molding machines, and rolling production lines with 100,000. Taiwan's plastic machinery capacity has become the world's largest producer of plastic machinery. At present, China's plastics industry has formed a relatively complete system for raw material production, plastic product processing, plastic machinery manufacturing and even plastics applications.
It is estimated that by 2005, the market growth of China's plastics industry will reach 10%, and the total output of plastic products will reach 25 million tons. In 2015, the market will grow by 8% and the total output will reach 50 million tons.
The main problems in the current plastics industry in China are:
